Beretorn 10 Posted March 8, 2010 Hey, I already searched the board but i couldnt find something regarding my problem. in the scenario mission war welcome i sometimes have the following problem. sometimes when i build a static launcher like mk19 or tow it spawns without crewman....its like a 50:50 chance. Waiting for them wont work, even after 10 minutes the launcher is still empty. when i go to the launcher the text appears "crewman:yes", so basically there should be one i guess. using 1.05.62017 no mods etc. Thx Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
airborne_hk 0 Posted March 11, 2010 By default the defenses don't have any crewman. I think it depends on if the HQ has enough resources, not you. Moreover, if you only capture a stronghold of a village/town, no crewman will be spawn until you capture the village/town. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rangoon 0 Posted June 20, 2010 Is there any more information on this? I'm in Dogs of War and I built several ZU-23s. At first there were no crewmen. After a while, the first several had crewmen but not the most recent. Does HQ just crew them as resources are available? Should I buy crew to man them? Does the Crewman: Yes/No do anything? Thanks! As to whether crewmen will eventually man the defenses I have purchased, it seems they will. As far as I can tell, it must be part of a funds/priority algorithm which handles this. I kept checking periodically and as time went on, more and more of the guns were manned. I suppose another thing I could have done was vote myself Commander, then do it myself. However I'm not sure if that would have worked or not. I tried being commander very briefly, but didn't see what I remember from Warfare in ArmA 1 - I could find no way of creating objectives for teams. I could just command the teams that were there by giving them waypoints and adjusting the various details like awareness level, formation, etc. like you can with any subordinate teams. So I switched back to AI commander. I think a third option would be to purchase crewmen myself and order them to man the guns. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't know with War Welcome, but in Dogs of War I could purchase only 12 or 13 units including 3 of razor team members! if I try to purchase 14 th unit, I couldn't! & for War Welcome I've stopped playing it, because for me its unplayable!...once 3 Tanks & 3-4 machine gun enemy spawned right in front of me and killed my whole team!...its just not acceptable for me....:confused: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
