Ridge_Runner_5 10 Posted March 3, 2010 Trying to get ArmA II up and running on my new Win7 x64 machine. Pop in the DVD the first time, installs just fine to C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmAII. Try to install 1.05 patch. It fails. I figure it is because it cannot get the permissions to modify files in the Program Files directory (like some Fallout 3 mods). I uninstall, then try to reinstall elsewhere. Regardless of where I install now, it fails early on, citing a CRC failure with one of the .pbo files. Restarting Windows and trying again has no effect. Any ideas? Bulldogs 10 Posted March 4, 2010 Try uninstalling then copy the contents of your DVD to a folder on your hard drive then right click your arma 2 setup/installation in that folder and run it as administrator. After installation is complete, do the same for the 1.05 patch (run it as administrator) If that fails. Try again, but download the 1.04 patch and try installing that before the 1.05 patch.
