online heli lock-on

hello gents

when playing multi-player i have problems targetting or lockin targets .

tryed the normal commands but to no avail.

with a gunner it works (for him not me)(pilot).

do he was complaining he couldend lock the sidewinder.

any suggestions?

some servers use Veteran, or Expert difficulty settings. Most of the time you will not have a 'Lock' on target visually. On these difficulty settings, even if there is no visual lock, you may still fire the missile, if you at least tried getting a target with the TAB target key.

Another factor to consider: if you are engaging enemy aircraft, you first have to spot them, otherwise you won't be able to get a lock on them. Right-click on it (zoom in) to confirm the target.
