Mister Frag 0 Posted November 21, 2001 If you hit Print Screen without any additional software installed, the image is simply placed onto the standard Windows Clipboard. You'll have to paste it into something like Paint and save it to a file from there. Changes are you HAD a funny picture of an airplane going 1450 miles an hour... Mister Frag 0 Posted November 22, 2001 The Clipboard is where objects are held when you use Cut and Paste. It's not a file on disk, it only exists in memory. That's why I said that you had an image of you going 1450 miles per hour, because when you turn your computer off or perform another copy or cut operation, the bitmap that is on the Clipboard will be lost.
