Mister Frag 0 Posted April 9, 2002 What are the symptoms? What card did you have before? Describe your system in detail as well.
Claymore 0 Posted April 9, 2002 I also have a GeForce MX-200 and VIA chipset and have no problems at all with OPF! What driver version do you use for your GeForce and have you got the latest 4in1 drivers for the VIA chipset? My mobo is a AOpen AX34PRO II and my vidcard is a Creative GeForce 2MX. ralphwiggum 6 Posted April 9, 2002 ok...so i'm assuming that you have 4-in-1 driver for VIA chipsets, latest NVidia driver(28.32, i think) you mentioned that you have 64mb RAM. are you talking about your system memory or video card memory? if that's sytem memory, you really need to upgrade. i have 750mhx AMD duron, 256RAM GF2 Mx-200 a VIA motherboard. and it runs fair enough
Mister Frag 0 Posted April 9, 2002 For starters, add memory to your system, 64MB isn't enough to do anything useful; it might be OK for booting the OS and running a web browser, but that's where the fun ends and the pain sets in. Try going into the Control Panel -> System -> Performance, and see what percentage of memory and resources are free. I'm sure you'll find that most of them are already exhausted before you even load OFP.
