MP stops working (connection failed) after one game at any server

I've had Arma2 for half a year on 32bit Vista and now for the past 3 months on 64 bit Win7 and one bug has been bugging me the whole time.

Whenever I try to play MP, I essentially have only one shot to choose server as when I'ce chosen the server I can get in, play as long as I want etc.

But as soon as I want to try another server, any connection attempt results to "connectiong failed" notification by Arma. Doesn't helpo to reboot Arma, only option is to reboot windows AND even that doesn't work every time. Only "Connection failed", nothing else. Sometimes it happens on some servers even on the first time, but most servers accept me for the one time.

I've tried this with basically all Arma versions from 1.02 to the current 1.05 and as well as ACE 2. The only thing constant is my firewall (Symantec Endpoint protection) but I've also tried to disable that, without any results.

Any suggestions? Rebooting windows every freaking time I want to check another server is not really an option.

I have only seen this when I play with my friend. I have 2 pcs on a LAN behind a DSL router. I found that when I connected to any server the other PC would get "Connection Failed", after a restart of Arma on both machines I tested joining from the other pc first, which worked. But now the one that was working would give "Connection Failed". Restarting the DSL modem fixed it. I have only had it a couple of times, its a rare thing for me.

no real suggestions, but maybe it will help in tracking down the prob.
