Modifying what side they are on...

So I downloaded an add-on that adds the PMC infantry. The only issue I have is they are on the independent side, which makes them speak russian. I un-pboed the files, and now I am trying to make it to where they are on the bluefor side so they speak english, however, I have no idea where to go to change what side they are on. I have the config.bin opened but I have no idea what item to change to make it work, anyone able to help?

Are you talking about the MGS4 PMCs?

Whatever, you'll need to assign a BLUFOR leader to the group, and they are on the BLUFOR side, and if you don't want to him to be present, you set it's probability of presence to 0. But I'm positive it won't change the language they speaking.

Yeah, the main issue is the language they speak... plus for quicker and smoother mission editing i would like them on bluefor as well.

Have a talk with the author of the addon, and ask him to make it or ask permission to make it yourself.

You would just have to edit/add the following lines for the base class in their config.

		identityTypes[] = {"Head_USMC"};
	languages[] = {"EN"};
	side = 1;

AFAIK, that should do the trick.
