MasterChief096 10 Posted December 29, 2009 I manually patched to 1.05 because I couldn't wait to play the mini campaign (Glad I did too :D)... however how do future Steam updates work? It said to leave Automatic Updater disabled so does that mean I will have to manually update the game every new patch? I don't really mind doing that but my friend said that future patches may not be co-compatible with retail/steam versions. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Binkowski 26 Posted December 29, 2009 I'm not familiar with the Steam version. Although I do have it, I run my DVD Box version simply for the directory. Grizzle 0 Posted December 30, 2009 I would imagine at some point you will be instructed to let Steam perform an update once they release the steam version of 1.05 patch. Marek from BI mentioned in another thread that the Steam patch will be about 5gb.
