question about the anti-cheat config file

I downloaded and installed anticheatconfig.zip.

how does it work?

is it for all missions and servers?

can it detect all cheats?

If you are afraid of cheaters you play on the wrong server(s) with wrong people...

that file was on filefront and introduced via game server's messages.

address was some thing like: www.filefront.com/somerandomnumber/ANTICHEATCONFIG.zip

it contains a config.bin file that should be placed in ofpdir/res/bin.

players told me it will kick off cheaters automatically.

can it be a spying program? :confused:

Mh, I can only say I've never heared of such a file before. Which server 'advertised' the file?

this is the text of that zip file's readme.txt file:

PLACE THIS FILE IN YOUR OPERATIONFLASHPOINT RES/BIN/ FOLDER

I see it doesn't say anything about auto-kicking.

I added it on the =S.O.F= server. What the config did was to stop the G36A mod from working which had no recoil and m21 zoom. Only just seen this post lol
