Amuro 10 Posted December 24, 2009 It's not the random audio cutting out issue with the Razer Megalodon. My problem is that the sound is completely messed up when using the Megalodon 7.1 headset. There's static/popping, weird clipping and other noise. It's only happening with ArmA2, works fine with every other game I play. And it's only happening when using this headset, when I swtich to my X-fi with 5.1 speakers, everything works fine. I used to be able to use that headset with ArmA2 without problems but that was with 1.02 and on Vista x64, since then I took a 4 month break with the game. Now I'm using Win 7 x64, and there's no way to change configuration to 5.1 like in Vista. Anyone else has similar issues with their headsets?

mrbinkels 10 Posted January 2, 2010 I had the same problem. Both my desk speakers and headset, Logitech L35, where enabled. I disabled the desk speakers via the speaker icon in the sys tray. Solved my problem.
Bulldogs 10 Posted January 3, 2010 Windows 7 has the option to change to 5.1 on both the windows speaker configuration and the x-fi audio control panel. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to unless the drivers never installed correctly.
