I finished it ! I didn't destoyed targets of oportunity but I destroyd LST and saves Levie base. (17min./7400pts)

Oh man! Great mission! I really love those voices... really professional sounding. I nearly completed it, but unfortunately i really suck at flying

Yes, it's main target. After destroying there is no explosion but from LST is big wreck.

Did anyone try to leg it back to base after being shot down? There are two outro's, nothing fancy, but I thought for us flight simmers, we never got a game where you could fly, get shot down, and have to get back to base......til OPF turned up.

Is the view distance okay? I set it to 800m, any more and there would be a tad of lag on lower end machines.

Whenever I'm playing OPF normally and I try to destroy an LST with an SU-25 or a Hind or whatever, it just never gets destroyed. How do you destroy an LST?

LST has high durability. Set some damage like lst setdammage 0.7

Good idea, suprised I never thought of that actually.

ps.Isn't it a bit unrealistic that eight Maverick missiles, each one capable of destroying an Abrams, won't do shit against an LST unless you set some damage?

Well, Mav's are usually designed to hit the target from above (weakest part of the tank is the top). The best way to sink a ship is to strike just above the water line.

BTW, I decreased the armour of the LST to less than half, makes things easier.

Cool mission! The bullets are flying all around you! Love that! Only a pity that when I fly over the AA-stuff it shocks all a bit and on some ohter parts   (Slow Cpu)  But I can live with that   Cool mission.

Excellent mission dude. The opening cutscene was probably one of the best I've seen. Also, I loved your use of lighting at the airfield in the mission. I suggest that everyone give this mission a try.

Thanks lads, if you liked the lighting effects, you should try the original version. It uses inquisitor's airfield lights. I decided to take them out in the final version cos they were casuing an immense amount of lag on my P3 800MHz.

BTW, if you liked the intro, have you seen the outro to Hornets Nest? That was one outro I enjoyed making (I usually hate making cutscenes)

PIII 450 mhz 128 MB RAM. Like I said, it lags when you fly over the AA-restistance, but when out of that "zone" there are no problems. I think it isn't playable under my system.
