Annoying Little Problem

Recommended Posts

I recently upgraded to XP, now there's this little annoying problem when playing OFP. The normal windows mouse pointer doesnt disappear. Every time I move my mouse both pointers move, but I can only select and click with one. When playing the windows pointer is still visible and moves around the screen. Anyone else experience this?

do yourself a favor and stop being a microsoft guinea pig. uninstall xp. microsoft only does preliminary beta testing

they are far too cheap to try do any extensive tests. they find it far more profitable to allow the public to do their work for them. anytime and i mean anytime microsoft comes out with a new product not just o/s's wait for at least one or 2 service packs come out before you rush out and switch over. remember this addage "if it aint broke dont fix it" if your o/s is running fine then let it ride and let some other poor slob beat his head against the wall for uncle bill.

Unholy, I just bought XP, I have a few problems, but no way in #### would I outweigh them to all the stuff they're going to have to gut in the next service packs. Believe me, I would rather get it now.

Viper..

I had this problem in Half-Life where the windows mouse pointer would appear over the game....

To fix i hit ESC then Resume Game

Maybe you could try ALT-TABBING to refresh the mouse?
