FGM 10 Posted December 10, 2009 I have ArmA 2 installed from steam. I did install the game and than uninstall it because I needed some extra space temporally on my hard drive. Now when I installed it again the beta patches don't want to install. It says that ArmA 2 is not installed on my PC. It's in the add/remove programs list so why the patches won't install? Would really appreciate some help here.
Avoidable 10 Posted December 10, 2009 What version are you trying to beta patch? If all you have done is install vanilla and not patched at all, you may need to patch up to 1.4 then try beta patches as the betas most likely require this version.

no use for a name 0 Posted December 11, 2009 it's more than likely a registry error. Try running a reg cleaning program like ccleaner, or manually edit it. There's several threads around that talk about the same issue; so make sure you search/read those as manually editing your reg can cause problems if you don't know what you're doing; and IIRC a couple people listed the steps you should follow
