Hud Dorph 22 Posted December 10, 2009 Need some advise here regarding serverlogs. First i seem to not being able to find any other log than the net.log on my server. This log grows in size rapidly and contains a lot of stuff that i really dont need. I have tried with flw in my server.cfg "logfile="logfile.log";" but it does not seen to give me anything, that one worked in arma1 to write a log prettymuch what was written in the server console window. So here is my questions: Can Arma2 server create any other logs than the Net.log? If so, is anything needed in server.cfg to create it? Where will it be stored on a server based on winxp? (i have looked for it in the arma2dir and in the documents and settings dir where the .rpt and .mdmp files are located with no luck)

Hud Dorph 22 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Thx [KH]Jman i have read it but sadly i didnt get any wiser :) The thing i see in the server config is: ** if specified player connects/disconnects and player id are written to file. log file is persistant and appends data on server restart. */ logfile="myserver.log"; ** That i also have in my server.cfg i just seem not being able to find that log anywhere on my HD. Where is it supposed to be generated? Its not in the Arma2 dir - its not either in the document and settings along with the .rpt files. ---------- Found it - was looking in the wrong dir :) Edited December 12, 2009 by [HUD]Dorph
[kh]jman 49 Posted December 13, 2009 If you have specifiled a folder using the '-profiles' switch in your server startup line then it will be in that folder.
