How to make the ingame squad logo transparent?

Hello there!

I followed these instructions and made my ingame logo work just fine:

However, the background is not transparent, whatever I do it stays the same.

I installed the PAA plugin for my Photoshop CS2 and made a conversion from TGA to PAA.

Can someone help me and tell me what do I need to do in order to make the amblem background transparent?

make the stuff you want transparant in PS.. then save your image as *.png

now open up BI TextView2 and save it as *.paa

if you dont have Textview2 then install it. dont messaround with that plugin.

use the proper tools designed for the job.

Alpha channels. You clear what should be transparent. Check the net about it. ;)
