Animations loop

This is yet another problem with arma2 character controls. It's the old problem with animations having to play through the whole loop. However it doesn't effect all the animations, the one that it does is the slow walking/crouch walk animations. You can test this very easily by going into 3rd person view with your character and you start running. Now while running TAP the walk key just once. A quick tap. The running animation will stop and slow down right away and the walk animation will begin and the whole loop will start to play out, even though you only tapped the key, after this it goes back to running. This can be annoying when making fine adjustments, as you keep on going even though you've let go of the key.

How easy would it be to change? Maybe something ground breaking happens in OA that can be moved over to ARMA2. Cutting the anims up in more parts to be able to stop them without playing the whole sequence out?

I know too little of these things however. I would be happy though if some of the at least most critical anims just didnt play out completelly when you dont want to.
