ralphwiggum 6 Posted March 31, 2002 AFAIK there are no wind factors i OFP. You can try cript, but i highly doubt it will be useful
osokjiak 0 Posted March 31, 2002 then, from what is given the direction of the fire (fireplace) or clouds? It's possible to change that via script ? Thanks Osokjiak
ralphwiggum 6 Posted March 31, 2002 I don't think so...sorry....it seems like those cloud/smoke movements are randomly chosen when the mission starts.
Humvee 0 Posted March 31, 2002 the samet hing for the flags they are facing the same way as the fires and the clouds. there has to be a note for the function somewhere???
knightlite 0 Posted April 2, 2002 I know wind is a factor in the game. You can change weather to effect some of the things but I can't find where you can set a direction. It would be nice for parachuting so you don't get blown into the water.
osokjiak 0 Posted April 2, 2002 Yes, flag, clouds and fire have the same direction. When the "wind" direction (or speed) change all of that object change them direction. I think that to have the control of the wind is important in some applications. For ex. the control of fireplace or flag in a cutscene...or some much complex like a para launch I'am looking for a solution....but wihtout result for the moment.
