invertus 10 Posted October 22, 2009 Hey, I've been playing ARMA2 for a couple of weeks now, working my way through the campaign at a slow pace, and I'm starting to notice little things changing, or rather they seem big. One point the colours were inverted, now it's on double speed. Is this the FADE protection? There is no reason it should be triggered, bought my copy totally legit from local GAME store, and no cracks, mods, or anything installed. Is there anything else that could be causing it to trigger? And before anyone goes ape over saying I'm a pirate, I will reiterate what I said before. I HAVE bought it totally legitimately from a store, and am NOT using any cracks or trainers as such. Any help would be much, much appreciated.
Sniperdoc 0 Posted October 22, 2009 I think fade only affects your shooting/aiming ability. I'm not 100% on that though...
Aelin 10 Posted October 22, 2009 I got the answer:this game is crazy. and now lets see how many "brothers" are going to attack me...
Bulldogs 10 Posted October 22, 2009 Try starting the game with the -winxp switch. If you have FADE the first thing you should notice is that if you lie flat on the ground and shoot at a target roughly 200-300 metres away your bullets should fly off in weird directions. Maddmatt 1 Posted October 23, 2009 Sounds more like some unusual graphical glitches. Make sure drivers are up-to-date. As for the game being on "double speed", did you press the time acceleration buttons? By default it's the - and = keys (next to backspace). They can speed the game to 2x or 4x, can be used on long boring journeys and the like.
