DarrnLTW 10 Posted October 17, 2009 (edited) Hi all, Love this game but it really annoys me.......Crash every 15-30 mins.. my screen just "jump" back to desktop without the usual "This program needs to stop" things. When I check my task, the Arma32.exe is still running on the "process" but no on "application" . Any idea? I also have this really annoying crackling sound from time to time, the radio just go crazy....Anyone else have the same problem ? My system is : I7 920 6GB ram ATI 4890 Windows 7 64 bit Xplosion 7.1 sound card Using xbox controller's headset on Skype 4.1.0.179 Hybertheading is disabled in BIOS I have packed the 2 files in Arma2.bitmp & Arma2.rpt , below is the link: http://www.filedropper.com/arma2_1 Thanks in advance! elementy 10 Posted October 18, 2009 that is 'vista & 7 problem' problem's range has Very wide spectrum. first GPU driver problem. As me, freeze with black screen 2~3sec and jump back to desktop like your situation when GPU temp is too high. use forceware like rivatuner or EVGA. use forcing cooler fanspeed alwayis 100%. will be better than auto fan control. but fan noise will be give more stress..
