marstewart 10 Posted October 10, 2009 When ever I try to load the Into the Storm mission the Arma2 executable crashes, and the screen to report this error to microsoft appears. I have not been able to get to Into the Storm the following is the error message; AppName: arma2.exe AppVer: 1.4.0.59026 ModName: arma2.exe ModVer: 1.4.0.59026 Offset: 002dcbef All the other single player missions work fine This is a Quad-Core XP SP3 machine with 3GB memory and an Overclocked Nvidia 8800GTX Ultra Graphics card with everything set to Very High (except Terrain which is normal) Is this a known issue Thanks in advance Sniper_Raven Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

marstewart 10 Posted October 10, 2009 I even tried running the whole game from the start and when it comes to load the Into the Storm mission it fails with the exact same error as when trying to resume a previous mission, my machine and ArmA 2 are all fully up to date ---------- Post added at 07:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:49 PM ---------- As an update, I uninstalled ArmA 2 from the current machine and reinstalled on my Vista machine exact same spec (except with a Maximus ASUS Crossfire motherboard and a ATI4890 graphics card) now Into the Storm loads and I am playing successfully - I don't want to keep it on this machine however.
