Does the Patch 1.04 repair the coop in the main campaign?

Just to know as i didn't read anything on it anywhere on the forum:

-With patch 1.04 out, can i now play the Single Player Campaign with friends?

-Has anybody tried? And, well, how does it look like?

No, it turns it into a evil fun house of terror. We couldn't even get off of the damn aircraft carrier. At one point my character became possessed and started walking around uncontrollably.
