Trolleybus (Trolejbus) Addon

Hi guys,

Here is a project that I'm working for to accompany my Taviana island, (http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=72218). It's a trolleybus, something that has never been seen in a BIS game.

This is a model of the Škoda Tr 14 manufactured between 1982 and 1997 in Škoda metal works, Plzeň (my home town). Bellow is a photo of how it looks in real life:

And this is how it looks in game at the moment (please note that the addon is not finished yet) I will update this thread with new screenshots later.

I don't know when this addon will be released as I am looking for somone who could make a script that the two long poles follow the wires on top as I said in this topic already http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=85964 so I will take this chance to ask one more time in this post in case anyone is interested and didnt see my topic in the other section, if you can help please PM me :)

Hello, Martin. I really support your island project. I wanted to make a trolleybus addon, but since you are doing it already, I may want to help you.

Those poles (as we call in Lithuania mustache) can be made to follow wires by doing it like a turret, with a dummy model mounting it and then it's just a matter of scripting "turret" to target the wires.

By the way, I'm from Vilnius, Lithuania, that's where those old Tr14 are still operational and the first "real" trolleybus photo is from Vilnius.

You may also want to make Tr9 trolleybus, which were operational in Lithuania till 2006, so in island like Taviana it's a must. I can try to go to a trolleybus park and supply you with photos if you need.

It's a real pain for me to tell you that this addon got lost in a hard drive crash a few months ago :( But if you could make the mustache follow the wires, I am willing to make a new model :) Contact me by PM :)
