the iceman 0 Posted March 24, 2002 I've noticed the following: i play at 1024x768 32 bits and when the gameoptions screen appeared it stuttered every 2 sec. i go to video, changed it to 800x600 32 bits and it runs smoothly, go back to 1024x768 32 bits in video options and tralala than its works fine! Somebody experienced the same?? xp-256 mb ram-geforce 2 mx400-philips pcs705 audio. With sound i disable EAX and hardware TL, otherwise i get allot of different sounds, crackling etc. Also put the slider in DXdiag by sound speedup to the left. Anybody have othr solutions for these probs??? Thanks in advance
DodgeME 0 Posted March 24, 2002 Update your video drivers. Maybe that GF2MX doesn't have enough steam to pull of a 1024*768 in 32 bit.
the iceman 0 Posted March 24, 2002 i've the latest drivers, and play Moh/GR etc on 1024x768 with everything on full details as possible! I don't think thats the problem....but thanks anyway
DodgeME 0 Posted March 24, 2002 You must realise that every game is different. I can play some games at 1600*1200*32. Games like Colin McRae. Same thing can't happen with games like Max Payne or Operation Flashpoint. Also OF requires a very good CPU, too. I think is your GPU's power.
Burl 0 Posted March 25, 2002 I'm running a GeForce2 MX400 64MB AGP on a Asus A7V motherboard. I don't have trouble with the graphics. What motherboard and cpu do you have? Burl
