The sounds are all very cheap. Just check out satchel´s soundpack (with GFX707´s modified version) and experience the cracking sound when firing a dragunov so you can hear what the game was supposed to be. The most annoying sounds in this game are the shilka/heavy machine gun sounds. Just replace them with GFX707´s modified version of the soundpack and hear what you are missing.

Anyway all original flashpoint sounds are of extremely low quality. It destroys the game feel. I hope BIS can fix this.

I totally agree with mp82. I would seriously recommend Satchel's soundpack to anyone that isn't happy with the standard sounds. I mean, gunfights sound so much more realistic with the sound addon:

Okay, this was a bit silly but the point I'm trying to make is that the original small arms fire sounded a bit cheap.

I think there needs to be a sound upgrade. The originals just suck. Need to fix the chopper sounds, all to gengeric along with their machine guns and rockets and ll that. The the Ah-64 let off 1 round sounds like ten. same with vulcan. They just need to be upgraded.
