JackandBlood 10 Posted August 26, 2009 Theres a ton of useful or humorous effects in the trigger/waypoint area, many of them not labeled. Also there's some 30ish music tracks. JackandBlood 10 Posted September 4, 2009 Sorry is there already a way to do this that i'm missing? Cuz if not then so much audio resources will go untapped. I kinda expected a bit more support for this suggestion, in ARMA 1 i ended up making a mission where I just run through way points triggering the various sound effects so I would know whats useful. Can someone please just tell me how, then this suggestion can be put to rest. There must be nearly 50 sound assets in the trigger/waypoint menu that have no description. No one sees the value of using the vast existing sound resources for their own missions? And being able to play said unlabeled assets from the editor itself? NeMeSiS 11 Posted September 10, 2009 I just unPBO'ed music.pbo and coverted all the music to .mp3 so i can play them easily whenever i want to. The soundtrack is really good and i even wanted to make a 'The soundtrack is fucking awesome + poll' thread about it but i was too lazy. But anyways, it was worth the 'effort'. JackandBlood 10 Posted September 11, 2009 I like the soundtrack in this game too. As much as I like my own music selection, vocals tend to not go with this sort of game. The tracks in ARMA 2 are very good, but there are 30 of them and mission makers arent going to utilize them if they cant sample them first.
