CTF Flag placement ?

i cannot figure it out no mater what i do.

i have searched the forums and have searched all over the internet for tutorials also checked the BI wiki... cant find it for the life of me.

anyone want to tell me how and/or show me a video that will also show it to me?

sorry for if it is asked a lot, i think there needs to be a better named post for it to be easy to find.

ok so i tried making the markers adn all that how your pdf said but it still does not work.

there is no respawn, there is no ammo crates where i place "allweapons" markers nor where i place vehicle markers...

and yes i read thru the whole pdf and did it just how it said

Hmmm - well it seemsto work for a lot of other people. :-) If you are really stuck send me a link to your mission folder (zipped or pbo'd) and I'll take a look at it.

i tried with both the 3D editor and the normal one ( the 3d version does work great for placing vehicles :] ) and it did not work correct.... probably somethign i did wrong :)

do you have to do it in a certain order? if so i will just follow it to the letter ( trying that now)

ok so i have figured it out, you really have to do it in the order said and you cant use the 3D editor :$, but is there any way to make it so the spawns are not marked on the map when playing?

At present no (unless you write a bit of script to delete them after some delay) but I could add it in a future version. Do you mean the actual respawn_ areas or the protection zones ?

well i dont use the protection areas so yah the respawn_

i want it so you cannot see where the spawn areas are when playing because it really is fun trying to hide out somewhere then all of a sudden you get spawned on and taken out :)

It's tricky because there is no 'clear' colour you can set markers to. Having said that, there is setMarkerAlpha which looks like it might set transparency. I will do some playing around with it.
