Krator 10 Posted August 19, 2009 Hi people ! i want to give more orders to the AI in my squad 3 examples of what i want them to do -fire weapon in their hand or the gun they are in ( as gunner ) .... the normal order menu ( 3 3 ) and the holding alt for "supress does not work -> the situation an enemy is behind a wall ... i can order my ai to target the enemy but as long as they dont have a line of sight they will not fire ... i want to order them to target and then start to fire -> if my ai is in a tank or a m113 i can give the oder to fire with the "comand fire" key if i am in the vehicle too ... i want to be able to give that order without beeing in the vehicle -landing a chopper .. i want to be able to give my ai pilot the order to land ( thats it nothing more ) -> the situation i want to order an ai ( as pilot in a chopper ) to fly somewhere ( move to .... -> works fine ) and then order to land -> order to disembark works ... it makes the pilot land, turn off the engine and disembark -> i just want him to land -do absolutly nothing ... i want to give my ai the order to do absolutly nothing ->the situation flying an attack chopper / driving tank with ai as gunner ... no matter what i do or dont do the ai changes the active weapon randomly ->i know it is a bug ( at least i think so ) .... but would it be solved if i could order the ai to do nothing ? is it possible to script those comands ? if yes please show me - tell me or direct me to a noob friendly "how to guide" thanks in advance :bounce3: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
nuggetz 0 Posted December 30, 2009 Bump - How would I go about giving a chopper orders to fly past my troops to a WP, land, and turn off their engines. I dont want them to get out.
