wazandy 10 Posted August 17, 2009 Here's what I did. (I'm 1.3 patch obviously..) 1. Downloaded a mod. 2. Created a new folder in the main Arma2 directory called '@modname' 3. Inside the folder, I created a folder called 'Addons' 4. Inside that one I extracted the PBO files for the mod. 5. Ticked the mod name in Linebacker and launched Arma2 through LB itself. 6. No mod seems to be working, and even missions that need a specific mod say that the mod has been 'deleted.' Eh? Have I done something critically wrong? Does the '@' folder name need to be the EXACT mod name for example? Cheers guys, desperate for that RAF Chinook!
cole 0 Posted August 17, 2009 Have you tried if it's working without the launcher? Just add -mod=@modname to your ARMA II shortcut. like this: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@modname If that works, then there might be a problem in the launcher. paragraphic l 2 Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) All steps seem fine, just make sure that in step 5: did you call the mod in linebacker @modname? never used linebacker but I guess that could be the error. always use the same name in step5 as you did in step2 to your second question, if you've downloaded for example "@HeavyEffectsCoolGrenadesModbyMrGenius" you don't have to call it like that it's just a name. If you create the folder in your ArmA2 directory you can call it whatever you like, you don't even need the '@' symbol in front to have it working, but it's easier to recognise your mods that way. You can call it "@HeavyEffects" or "@MrGenius" or "@1" just make sure call it the same in linebacker or just in the shortcut -mod=@1;@MrGenius;@HeavyEffects;@HeavyEffectsCoolGrenadesModbyMrGenius; it's all possible Edited August 17, 2009 by ParaGraphic L
