Warin 0 Posted March 21, 2002 All of the Soviet armour is down. There are a few stray Soldiers kicking around, but the M1's dont seem to be interested in finishing them off. What have I missed? I keep landing and hopping out to off a few of them with my trusty carbine, but I keep getting shot because pilots are crappy shots! Any help would be appreciated. What you are experiencing is a common bug, and believe me I know how to deal with it because I had the very same problem. Make it so that you arrive at around the same time as the tanks, because you tend to get there late and the friendly tanks are either destroyed or out of ammo. Go for the trucks, jeeps and shilkas especially and check the mountainside near the town as there are often ememy trucks and UAZ's there. Random 0 Posted March 23, 2002 Make sure you get there as quickly as possible and take out the enemy Hind as soon as possible (right click on it, order gunner to shoot with Hellfires). If you take it out quick enough there's a friendly Cobra that will help you. But if you're too slow, the Cobra will get shot down. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Random 0 Posted March 24, 2002 And Titanium, I was talking about the friendly Cobra helicopter that is flying around the area as well. The enemy Hind will shoot it down if you aren't fast enough. Warin 0 Posted March 24, 2002 Turned out it was timing. I was spending too much time helping the dudes at the other base. I waded in and killed the tanks as fast as I could, gunned down the at soldiers, and my tanks rolled in and mopped up. Mission finished. Thanks guys And the hind seems to be a pain to shoot down..
