Slow moving planes = better

Recommended Posts

i think slower transport planes like a KC-130 Hercules, C5 Galaxy, Antonov An-225 Mriya or maybe a skyvan could be nice. Especially if tansporting jeeps and humvees is possible.

The problem might be taking off and landing

i think that the an-225 is a bit too big and if im not wrong the KC-130 is an aerial refuelling plane and not a transport one...

An-12 and C-130 would be enough...

Why on earth would you want an aerial refueling plane ? I mean who possibly flies the A-10 long enough to burn its fuel, and then is so lazy that doesn't even want to land to refuel.

And why would anyone need a cargo plane. For Christ's sake people, you can't fly from one island to another, and seeing how there's only one airport per island, this makes cargo planes useless.

Since this game is really an infantry simulation, with vehicles to add realism, I say add more infantry men. Mortars, etc.

I think OFP should stick to dedicated attack aircraft like the A6 Intruder. I rarely make use of the chinook as a transporter (usually use blackhawks), so I'm not sure what use a C-130 would be (except for parachuting loads of squads into combat. But lets face it, you need some beefy computer to handle the lag smile.gif ), unless someone makes a huge Island.

Nightlead's working on the AC-130, might be nice to get some fire support from an AI gunship smile.gif

Theres a purpose with transport planes. cause on malden theres an airport in the northwest corner of the map, and you cant move vehicles from it without any cargoplane.
