toby23 10 Posted August 11, 2009 I have an original CD German version of ArmA2, bought when it came out. I downloaded the 1.0.3 patch but it will not install. Error - ArmA2 is not installed on your computer or is corrupted Patch 1.0.2 worked fine when it was released... NOTHING I have tried has worked... ie remove mod folders, move patch to .exe location... Anyone have any ideas or do I have to download a Language Specific Patch? Your help is much appreciated, would love to give this patch a try...

toby23 10 Posted August 13, 2009 i want the developers to give me an answer as to why the patch won't install. do i have to wait for a german patch?

Bulldogs 10 Posted August 13, 2009 It's an issue with the original german version it seems. Reinstalling then patching straight to 1.03 seems to work.
Bravo0246 0 Posted August 13, 2009 I know one way to make it look like it's installed may vary a bit as i have 64bit OS. Though looks as what your saying is caused by another problem, but i'll say solution anyway. Go to Regedit. HK_local_machine/Software/(for me)Wow6432node/Bohemia Interactive Studio/ArmA 2/ Then create new "string value" name it "MAIN" ,modify it and put directory of your arma 2 eg "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2"
