Lol anyway. How about making a Turkey Vs Greece mod!!!<span id='postcolor'> Hmmmm, I had the idea myself, but without Oxygen it is not possible. Greece uses M-48 Sherman tanks, Leopard 1's, and is about to buy some Challenger 2's. It also uses the "Leonidas" APC...and I am not sure what it is based on. Only seen 1 pic of it as well. Then you would have to take one of the islands and retexture it completely! New houses, new signs, new civilian vehicles (Datsun Yellow Cab ) etc. VERY difficult, VERY time consuming. Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted March 22, 2002 Ok, just read the following: M-60's and some French tank from the 70's is also in use, but M-48, M-60 and the French one are all being phased out gradually. The Leonidas APC was designed by Steyer Here are a few pics:

DodgeME 0 Posted March 23, 2002 Yes they talk funny and l talk funny, too Anyway there are some words that are excactly the same with ancient greek unlike the modern Greek language which is spoken in Greece. One thing that l have learnt is that the Cypriot dialect is the best for name calling.

Greeks?<span id='postcolor'> Internationally, yeah. We call ourselves differently though. We call Greece "Ellada" (d is a greek delta and almost unpronounceable for western europeans ) and ourselves "Hellines" (h is unpronounced). Sometimes, Greece is also called "Hellas" (again no h). Comparable to Finland vs. Suomi I reckon.

That doesn't make sense to me I always wondered what it would be like if someone says "I'm from Cyprus", I talk to him in Greek and he gives me a blank look and says he's from the other part Would be strange... FFS, Turks have no business there if you ask me They invaded the island contrary to all international laws, and the US supported them of course because of that bloody ARkalik airport
DodgeME 0 Posted March 24, 2002 Well there was an agreement whcih the Cyprus gov didn't accepted. The Turks wanted a military base in Cyprus and we didn't gave em one and they attacked. Anyway we mind our own business here and pray they shall try something
