Obi-Lan-Kenobi 10 Posted August 10, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, i got a serious Problem while playing the campaign. After the mission "Bittere Kälte" where you talk to your Captain via Telephone (ingame sequence) my game starts to load a new chapter. Then this occures: I played the mission "Bittere Kälte" (dunno the english name) again in order to look if the problem is solved. I cant even load the latest autosave from this chapter. I have to start from the beginning in this lvl - but the problem occures everytime i finish it. Kenjineering 10 Posted August 11, 2009 I got this error message when ever I attempted to load my old 1.02 savegames on 1.03v of the game. I don't know if this is what you are doing, but the only way I could resolve it was by restarting the mission from scratch. After that, there was no problems reverting back to 1.03 saves. As I recall BI said that not all 1.02 saves will be compatible with 1.03. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bulldogs 10 Posted August 11, 2009 Try loading up your previous save game again, then hit save, then goto the folder mentioned and delete autosave.Arma2Save The problem is most likely caused by file permissions. This is likely because the autosave was originally created in 1.02, now that 1.03 is trying to overwrite it windows thinks that 1.03 is a different game and is preventing it from getting access. Deleting the file will allow 1.03 to create a new fresh autosave. BTW, the english name is "Bitter Chill" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

So i think there should be no problem with that. even so I'm going to delete the autosave file. I report what happens after that. edit: Okay, after deleting the autosave file, i had to start from my last savepoint i made.
