pappavis 0 Posted August 2, 2009 (edited) In Vista x64 I'm getting these type of blocky / textureless displays (like this post --> http://forums.bistudio.com/showpost.php?p=1332077&postcount=20). However, dualbooting into WinXP all works fine ! Machine: AMD phenom X4 (Quad core), 8Gb OS: Vista home premium x64 Gfx card: XFX Radeon 4890 I'm playing the Steam version. None of my other ganes have this problem. any tips appreciated! Edited August 2, 2009 by pappavis
ViperNL 10 Posted August 2, 2009 add -winxp to your shortcut: -rightclick on the shortcut (snelkoppeling) -add -winxp to the end of the target (doel) so it looks like "c:\arma2\arma2.exe" -winxp (or where ever you installed it) It has to do with Arma2 not detecting your 8GB properly.. It will probably be fixed next patch which is coming soon.
kklownboy 43 Posted August 2, 2009 ... 8Gb... pull a stick out. Its the 8gb issue with bis and some other games..Tho its a non issue i believe on the i7/ddr3 systems.
HapShrap 10 Posted August 2, 2009 I had the same issue after installing 2 GTX275 cards (upgrade from 8800s). When I removed 2 sticks of Ram and played with 4gig the textures loaded properly.
