BeerHunter 0 Posted July 30, 2009 Wondering why I put the CD in and it only gives me the Install/Exit option. The Play option is grayed out. When I exit that menu I can start the game via the desk top shortcut then. Is this normal?
Big Dawg KS 5 Posted July 30, 2009 This may seem like a stupid question but... did you install it? :j:
Bulldogs 10 Posted July 30, 2009 I've noticed a lot of people mentioning it, and I had the same thing with the German version, I'm running the steam version now so I can't tell you for sure but I haven't heard anyone mention it saying anything other than "install"
SWAT_BigBear 0 Posted July 30, 2009 Is your game patched? Mine does the same, but fiqured the patch caused it?
BeerHunter 0 Posted July 30, 2009 This may seem like a stupid question but... did you install it? :j: When I exit that menu I can start the game via the desk top shortcut then. :pIt's just that it seems like an unnecessary step and I'm just wondering if something may have gone a bit haywire during the install process. Game runs just fine after I start it. And yes - it's patched to ver# 1.02.58134
Bulldogs 10 Posted July 30, 2009 Easy solution... don't play any other games, or buy a DVD drive with it's sole purpose of holding your Arma 2 disk... become the fanboy!
BeerHunter 0 Posted July 30, 2009 (edited) As others have encountered this I can assume then that it isn't my installation so just have to wait until it's fixed or live with it. Edited July 30, 2009 by BeerHunter To remoe comment about Bulldog for his snide comment. He actualy did sort of answer the question
