FADE kicks in with ATI Tray Tools??

Recommended Posts

I just ran the game via ATI Tray Tools so that I could force VSync off. Well I noticed that my accuracy was messed up big time. With an M4A1, my shots would land consistently higher than my iron sites (by a fair way) and at ranges 400m+ which seems to my like it's way off the zero range.

I also only managed 1/20 shots in the skeet range :/

I then exit the game and started it using the regular .exe shortcut and i pulled off 18/20 in the skeets in the armory.

First I'd like to ask, can someone verify this is happening?

And secondly, once FADE enabled, will it keep recurring?

I'm using a legitimate version of the game bought from game.co.uk.

I had ATI Tray Tools before and don't recall having to use a modified .exe ? If it modifies the .exe then yes FADE is designed to kick in but once you switch back it should revert, failing that copy all your settings off and reinstall if it happens again when not using ATT.

I've used ATT with O:FP, ArmA and now ArmA 2 and never had FADE kicking in.

hrmm, maybe it was just bugged out then because the bullet trajectories were definitely way off.

It did seem to be better once I relaunched the game though so hopefully it won't happen again!
