Conner 0 Posted November 25, 2001 Why is it that (I have version 1.0) I always manage to get captured and put into the tent... but it ALWAYS says nobody knows where I am and so cannot be rescued? I cannot progress and cant seem to get myself rescued. Any help appreciated, Ive tired it over 40 times now and getting mad.

Panzer Nijnrich 0 Posted November 25, 2001 Waiting doesn't help a **** ing thing, it's the mission reviewer that says nobody knows where I am and so cannot be rescued!!! And yes I waited until we the rebels arrived. Got out of the tent , grabbed an AK and shot some Sov's but still I can't advance to the next mission
redvex 0 Posted November 25, 2001 Look on the left of the fire. You'll see a BMP only waiting 4 u 2 get in. Board it and make Reds to be more red than they are, then get out of the BMP (or the Mi24 will spank you) and run through the mountains.
Conner 0 Posted November 25, 2001 Cant even find a fire. I crawl outta the tent, pick up an AK47.. move around a little.. then I get the d*amn message saying Im alive but cannot be found.. Do i want to retry or continue? If i continue, it takes me back to the main menu. What the #### is going on? Is there no way to get to the next mission? Even if i just sit in the tent and do nothing, I get the same thing. Any ideas?
redvex 0 Posted November 25, 2001 If you're at this point, you should have read the briefing. It says that in the south of the island there are some nato forces and you could find the direction with the polar star. My suggestion is that you find the south and run towards it with time acceleration, then you'll meet friendlies and mission will be over.
amos m 0 Posted November 25, 2001 redvex, I think you're thinking of the wrong mission dude. Is it the mission where u gotta run and dodge tanks and choppers with no buddies left in your squad? Sounds like u got a problem dude. try reinstalling, updating dx. If that doesn't help contact the customer service team. It'll probably take a bit to sort u out, but u should get there eventually. theavonlady 2 Posted November 26, 2001 It could be a bug or it could be that you waited too long to escape from the tent and head towards the resistance soldiers, who may since have left. You have to follow them. If you're tired of replaying the mission and want to move on, search The FAQ for "any order".

Conner 0 Posted December 1, 2001 Me again, I have upgraded to the latest version and still have this problem. I have tried running like mad out of the text forwards but an enemy BMP came along and took me out. I noticed that there are a lot of green soldiers (My men?) behind the tent. So I tried again but this time going straight behind the tent - I came accross soldiers that didnt try to shoot me but the game then ended saying I could not be found. ARGGGGHHH!!! Do I have to communicate over a radio or something? Any ideas?
