505 Games Boxed Edition - Limited Activations?

My computer is refusing to boot up anymore (it can boot up by removing the CPU fan, but this is not 100% foolproof), and I'm uninstalling all of my programs that have limited activations.

Does the DVD version of ArmA 2 from 505 Games have a limited amount of activations? If I have to format this HDD with ArmA 2 still on it, will FADE be activated when I next install it?

It shouldnt, and fade should only be activated by pirated copys so you should be fine

You are fine if you have the 505 physical game or downloaded the Steam version. If you download any other version you have restrictions.
