Hey, Question about the Patch

I've been reading about patches here on the forums for Arma 2 but does Steam automatically patch your game? I've browsed the update history of ARMA 2 via the steam interface but there is nothing besides the, "Arma 2 goes live" thing or w/e it is announcing that you can buy the game. Do I have to manually download the patches and then install them?

Yes, the Steam version does automatic updates. If you try to install any stand alone patches it will fubar your install.

If you want to manually check to see if you have the current version, right click the game name in your games list, go to "Properties", then "Local Files" and "Verify integrity of game cache".
