New version fraps

There's a new version of FRAPS out, a utility that displays and optionally records the frame rate of DirectX and OpenGL-based applications.

This latest version corrects a problem with corrupted menus I've been experiencing under Windows XP. It's a great tool, and well worth the small download.

Just tried the 1.7a and it works well with OFP. The older 1.7 did not, it made my screen flash continously in any resolution. I had been using 1.6 to get around that.

This program is good for verifying tweaking performance and checking that vsync is actually off (not the case for most nv drivers)

I had various problems with all versions past V1.5 under XP, either corrupted menus (including the Start menu drawing as just an outline), or the flashing screen you mentioned.

V1.7a works like a charm again.
