MrMisty 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Hello, I am in need of some assistance. I have a few completed weapon models in maya, and would like to go about getting them ingame. I am able to create, uv map, and do basic textures/normal maps for models in maya, but that is about as far as it goes. I haven't used O2 yet, and would prefer to do the modeling in maya. What I am looking for is a tutorial or set of tutorials that takes me from where I am at to getting it working ingame. I've read most of the wiki info and am having a really hard time understanding the formats, how to export, LOD's etc. Does anyone have a link to one?
max power 21 Posted July 15, 2009 Try searching www.ofpec.com. A lot of the fundamentals for OFP and ArmA are the same. There are new selections and such for ArmA 2, and I'm not sure where to find information about that. More will be known when BIS publishes example models. MrMisty 0 Posted July 17, 2009 Thanks a lot. OPFEC is a great site and is definitely a good start. Some of the tutorials are still for OFP, but they help with learning the fundamentals nonetheless.
