little Help with demo editing until I get DVD

Recommended Posts

Hello all.

first off. I would like to congradulate BIS on producing the FINEST military game known to human kind.

I have been playing OFP since its release, RES, ARMA and now the ARMA II demo.

I have a pretty good dual core system and it runs fanstastic.

I need a little help if anyone can help me. I have been making maps for years, and I am a little baffled at this one.

In the STEAM Demo, when I am in the mission wizard to create a sieze map, I can create a way point, but when I click on it to edit it, I can change parameters, but I cant CLOSE that, and save the way point. The only thing I can do Is hit escape, and it will just make the waypoint a "move" waypoint.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks all

Dave

ok..thats kinda what I thought.Thanks man

Is there any way to make a unit like a chopper, move to, and load the unit with the mission editor in the demo? I guess I should know, Like I said, I been makin maps since OFP and everything is the same. I was just wondering if they changed it, and I wasnt seeing to hit a button or something.

O well...It HAS to be THE best demo made for PC gaming, the closest rival would be Battlefield 2. That was a great demo.

Cant wait til best buy gets it....cant wait..

This is similar to what I was trying to do with the wizard in the Arma 2 demo too. I was trying to put a chopper on search and destroy then a cycle waypoint after that. Seems like a limitation of the demo, sadly...

And yes I was searching for this thread too instead of starting a new one.
