millertym 10 Posted July 13, 2009 So far I've mostly loved the campaign and game play... besides a couple of glaring flaws in a couple of missions so far: 1- When evacuating Manhattan the option to retreat to the US base far to the South - why put that option into the game if it is not allowed? Players spend a long period of covert sneaking to get down there... only to be magic sniped when they get within 1.5 km of the base? That mechanic ruined the fun of the fun of the mission for me. 2- The end of the Badlands mission - there isn't one!? I've completed all the objectives and the mission won't end. Shows complete, cut scene, then back in the mission showing objective still to complete that was just completed before the cut scene. I'm stalled at this point until I figure out how to get the mission to end properly. 3- The most minor of my gripes is the cut scenes over all. Seems like I constantly get radio chatter, and cut scene dialog running over each other and sometimes even combat happening while my guys are standing around trying to talk. Anyway - great game overall... I love the mechanics of it all. But man, the single player campaign needs some serious polish applied to how it flows along with a few major bug fixes. More clarity/instruction on what exactly the options are to complete some of the more complex missions would do a lot to decrease frustration. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
