14th_Fly 0 Posted March 13, 2002 I've been following this website for a while know, checking to see if there's anything new. Â Originally, they were provided a sizeable grant to develop simulations for the military to aid in training. Some of the early pictures I saw either on their site or in their newspaper, showed operationflashipoint-type graphics on a large wall and the soldier (real person) stood in front of it and tried to take control of the situation as it changed around him...anyways... I checked back yesterday and it seems they will be releasing a version that they say is not too different from the military version they developed. Â It's called CS-XII. Â " CS XII, the other game, is a PC title in which players lead a company of about 100" There's not much info on the site (and I've included links below to help guide ya through them). SOme Mechwarrior 3 producers have found their way to this project. Institute for Creative Technologies Wired News Article (Oct. 29, 2001) Link to Game Site (not much info except basic requirements..) Â Yesterday I emailed quicksilver, and they responded that they don't have screenshots for distribution yet. Â CS XII, the other game, is a PC title in which players lead a company of about 100 Future Combat (developers) Reuters.com story on game (Oct. 25, 2001)
