Having a hard time with the MP

I do really like this game and I want to like the MP, too. But right now I have almost no idea of what I'm doing.

I join a coop game or cti and when I spawn I'm all by myself, I have no leader. I find the nearest waypoint which often is 1000 of meters away and when I have run all the way the battle is over and the guys have already moved to the next waypoint. Now I have even more miles to run. I really want to play tactical with a team and move together and stuff but I almost always find myself as a lone wolf. I use 90% of the time just running around not seeing any enemies. What do you guys do who aren't in a clan and just playing MP an your own?

I hear you, tried joining a few coop games myself with same experience. In the demo i hosted custom missions and i'm gonna do that in the retail aswell, just need time to create some more missions as i only got 1 ready.

My missions is mainly about sweeping a city from one end to the other or attacking a camp in a forest and often there's less than 700-800 from start to end but still a lot of action and excellent team work ;)

I to felt as you do at one time. I went from one server to another. I was very lucky to find the people I did. These guys have been around a decade or more. They were very generous with there time and I cant tell you how much they've taught me about tactics and game play in general. I had to hang around and ask questions at appropriate times, and follow directions. Finding a place you are comfortable and liked is the trick. When in a MP mission you need to communicate with the leadership. Reading the forums for whatever clan or server you want to play on is a good rule of thumb or better yet a must. With that being said I invite you to check out Alpha Squad http://alphasquad.ro/forums/index.php#10 Register, go to main arma forum. Your questions will be answered very quickly. TeamSpeak is required to play. A simple answer is to hang at the spawn point and wait for others to respawn, then communicate with them. I hope this helps.
