Editing Pre-Existing Missions

Hi there, I'm new to editing and was wondering if it is possible to use someone's pre-existing created mission and unpack it and edit it in the ArmA 2 editor.

I'm basically looking to modify a coop domination style map and add some of my own touches to it and revamp part of it, but I have no idea if this is even possible.

It would be greatly appreciated if I could get some help with this.

All you need is a tool to unpack the PBO file the mission is packed into. There are several of them and they should be easily found through Google.

Simply unpack the mission PBO, and put the folder in your My Documents/ArmA2/missions directory and you should be able to open it in the editor.
