TheHarvesteR 11 Posted July 3, 2009 Hi again, I was wondering if there is a way to create a new user profile that uses the same settings as another profile... As it is, I'm currently called 'User', because I got all my controls and setting mapped on the default profile, and when I create a new one with my name, it comes with blank settings (not even the default joystick commands are mapped), and you can't change the name of the default profile So I was wondering if there was a way to transfer the settings from one profile to another... maybe a settings file somewhere? frederf 0 Posted July 3, 2009 Yeah, the first thing you want to do when getting ArmA or ArmA2 is abandon to default profile and make a second one and use that. Check the following files: \My Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\(Profile Name)\(Profile Name).ArmA2Profile \My Documents\ArmA 2\(Old Profile Name).ArmA2Profile They are simple text files you can open with note pad.
