Hindhunter 1 Posted December 2, 2001 Can´t tell since I´ve never used that card myself. The GeForce2 MX200 and MX400 series are rather affordable. In Sweden a GeForce MX400 64Mb costs approx 936Kr (SEK) = $99 and thats cheap in my opinon. I bought my GForce 2 GTS/PRO 64Mb DDR for $180 but it was definitly worth it. : ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
suchey 0 Posted December 2, 2001 As a gamer, skimping on a graphics card can be your worst move...hold out...save up the cash and get a phat card...as with all computer components, the big question is...how long do you want to hold back the inevitable of upgrading. Sooner or later you have to spend the cash...so either do it all at once by buying high end equipment...or spend it across a period of time which ends up meaning you settle for multiple versions of mid range performance. EXAMPLE: The Gforce3 Titanium or Radeon 8500 will still be workable and perform well in 2 years time, where as a low end card will be in really bad shape by then...there are also the mid range cards in between, but you get the picture.
