russin 0 Posted March 11, 2002 i bought red hammer gold up-grade the campain is fu__ed and my premo straigy guide is double printed impossible to read i don't really care about the guide but i payed $40.00 canadian for it bacically for the campain that don't work in spots of the campain it slows right down when they talk in cut sceens and speeds up in other spots i made it as far as i can. i got to a mission where my chopper is damaged and i have to steal a fuel truck...all is fine i re-fuel the chopper and go to next way-point when i get there the game speeds up the chopper freaks out then blows up tottal crap is there a replacment cd for this or what ? Lt_Damage 0 Posted March 11, 2002 Sounds like an audio driver problem [ voice speeding up? disable hardware sound???] My red hammer also doesn't work, just crashes as soon as I select the campaign. I've given up. I don't play SP anywhere near as much as Mp anyway. Possibly look into video / motherboard / sound card drivers, change these and possibly your AGP settings might effect it. PanzerGrenadier2 0 Posted March 12, 2002 YEs i had the same problem with that very mission... in the cut scene after u stolen the chopper and it says we are hit we're losing fuel etc the voices are in slow motion.... Then after u refuel the chopper and land at the repair area thats fine but as soon as u get control of the chopper it starts upside down or on a very tight angle, causing a pretty much unavoidable crash. I just kept retry'ing to see if i could get the chopper right way up and into the air safley took me a few goes but i managed. I think its pretty dodgey. But it only happened on that mission. irish_bloke 0 Posted March 12, 2002 ok try this go to the options menu and under the audio menu disable EAX and Hardware acceleration alo try disabling under the video menu multitexuring find out wot colur depth ur running the game in i.e 16 or 32 and switch it to the other so if u running in 16 bit col then run it in 32 bit Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
