Mc Speedfreak 10 Posted June 28, 2009 are you using addons or ArmA ports?
vato 10 Posted June 28, 2009 i don't now, how could i check? there is addons folder in arma2 dir so i guess its addons
Mc Speedfreak 10 Posted June 28, 2009 well.. if you havent downloaded any mods/addons yourself its safe to presume you are not using any. the Arma2/addons folder is default and hosts the BIS objects that come with the game. have you patched the game to the latest version? Patch 1.02.58134
vato 10 Posted June 28, 2009 Yes, i have just patched the game but still i get those errors
Bulldogs 10 Posted June 28, 2009 Try deleting the Arma2 shortcut off your desktop and create a new one yourself. (odd sounding solution but I had the same problem in Arma 1) If that fails, uninstall, reinstall and download a fresh patch and install it (maybe corrupt files)
vato 10 Posted June 28, 2009 I tried reinstalling before, it didnt worked, deleting shortcut didnd helped too...
Bulldogs 10 Posted June 28, 2009 Post your specs (including OS) and the version is shows in the bottom right hand area in the game menu and I'll see if I can help figure it out. ---------- Post added at 12:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:04 AM ---------- Try this to see if it helps. 1) uninstall Arma 2 2) goto the directory where Arma 2 was installed and if there's still a directory there, delete it and anything in it 3) download the 1.02 patch from www.arma2.com 4) install Arma 2 and run it unpatched to see if you still get the problem 5) install the 1.02 patch and check if it's working now

Bulldogs 10 Posted June 28, 2009 Try installing it to another directory. The most common issue for this is leftover mod files (from a previous installation or addon that went wrong) that aren't properly being removed when you uninstall. Installing to a different directory after uninstalling should help isolate the issue.
Makka_HS 10 Posted August 6, 2009 I also have the same error, cant use the editor or most missions, its a fresh install with no mods, googled it and theres a few people saying that when it installs make sure it creates a folder in ur documents... what if it doesnt? how do u fix that? Tried installing as admin, running as admin, even tried patching and cracking, but nothing helps the error is always there at startup - No entry 'bin\Config.bin/CfgWorlds.West. (or .east depending on map) you wouldnt think this would be a problem from a store bought game... maybe its something to do with Vista? If anyone has solved this problem please let me know :*(
